Project Technical Lead

TACG is seeking an experienced Project Technical Lead, responsible for directing software development and systems engineering efforts supporting NAVSEA training systems in Chantilly, VA. This position ensures technical execution, integration, and lifecycle support activities meet Government requirements and quality standards defined in the QASP, SOW, and QCP while collaborating closely with program leadership and Government stakeholders.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Lead and manage software development efforts from planning through delivery
Provide technical direction to local and geographically dispersed development teams
Ensure software solutions comply with contractual requirements, quality standards, and Government policies
Plan, organize, and oversee data gathering and data capture activities
Manage software version control, configuration management, and code base integrity
Lead technical integration, testing, and evaluation activities
Plan and execute modifications to existing software and subsystem components
Coordinate technical documentation, reviews, and deliverables with program leadership
Support DoD contract program management and technical oversight activities
Collaborate with Government stakeholders to resolve technical issues and risks
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Security Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Management, Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or Systems Engineering
Required Experience and Skills:
Ten (10) years of cumulative professional experience in software development, systems engineering, computer networks, or information/database management
Software development and systems engineering with an emphasis on integration
Agile and other structured software development methodologies
Management of software configuration, version control, and lifecycle support
Development of DoD training systems and tools
Navy engineering processes, including design, development, test, and evaluation
