We will rely on you to handle calls across the entire campus, deter crime, and build relationships. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide service functions to support the general safety of the university community. Patrol an assigned area and respond to radio and/or telephonic calls for routine and/or emergency assistance in all matters. Perform internal and external public safety functions. Perform investigations as necessary. SUPERVISION EXERCISED None QUALIFICATIONS Required: Must be 21 years of age, a high school graduate or equivalent, and be able to pass a background investigation. Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable through the University. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be able to professionally respond to community needs. Preferred: Prior training or experience in a university environment. Physical Demands: Must be able to walk, stand, and ride in a vehicle for long periods of time. Be able to climb stairs, walk up and down hills.
