Procurement and Inventory Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, parts, and services across all locations.
• Improve the parts tracking system and implement a comprehensive inventory process (organized, counted, tracked in Fleetio, and searchable by keyword and part number).
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Manage accessories, supplies, and replacement orders.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain sufficient stock without overstocking.
• Utilize inventory management tools to track and forecast inventory requirements.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance processes.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on procurement and inventory performance to leadership.
• Handle all warranty-related part returns to vendors.
• Receive, stock, and manage inventory levels, ensuring weekly inventory reconciliation.
• Develop and execute a weekly cycle count system.
• Collaborate with mechanics to design a parts request and fulfillment process.
• Ensure accurate stocking levels and reorder points are maintained and calculated correctly.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or inventory management
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software (e.g. Fleetio)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Certification in supply chain (e.g., CPSM, APICS, CPIM) is a plus.
• Experience in construction and automotive/ truck part fields
• Familiarity with lean inventory practices and just-in-time (JIT) methodology.
