Maintenance Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and/or Freon-based systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and valves
• Monitor system performance and promptly respond to alarms and emergency situations
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, IIAR, and food safety standards
• Safely manage refrigerants while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
• Assist with system startups, shutdowns, modifications, and upgrades
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response activities

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (food or beverage manufacturing preferred)
• Strong experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with VFDs, servos, motors, and automation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot 480V, 3-phase systems
• Experience with HMIs and industrial networking a plus
• Electrical license or certification preferred (state or journeyman level)
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, cold, or wet environments
• Strong attention to safety and documentation
