This isn't fine diningit's fast, fresh, and consistently excellent. If you love working with dough, have a sharp eye for detail, and thrive in a lively, team-driven environment, this role is for you. What You'll Do Hand-stretch dough, build pizzas, and oversee all prep to make sure every pie lives up to the Side Piece standard Maintain consistency, speed, and qualitywhether we're serving ten pizzas or a hundred on game day Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations Manage inventory, place orders, and keep waste to a minimum Collaborate with our crew to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours Train and mentor newer staff on pizza-making techniques, prep, and kitchen best practices Bring creativity to the tableexperiment with toppings, sauces, and specials that fit the Side Piece vibe What We're Looking For Previous experience in a pizzeria or high-volume restaurant kitchen (pizza oven experience a big plus) Strong knowledge of prep, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Proven ability to stay cool and consistent under pressure Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen practices A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for great food Join us at Side Piece Pies, where your craft will help fuel the best nights in Austin.
