An occ med clinic is seeking locums coverage.

Charleston gets its southern charm from its cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, and antebellum houses.

The physician will diagnose and treat work-related injuries while performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies. The clinician will evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis, with patient demographics consisting of 90% occupational medicine and 10% urgent care cases. The position may involve overseeing and collaborating with advanced practice providers in the clinic while performing in-office procedures and communicating with employers to provide medical guidance. All documentation must be completed in a timely and appropriate manner, and the physician will undergo one week of orientation alongside a permanent physician before working independently.
