Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the cutting, finishing, and forming departments to ensure smooth and efficient production
• Manage departmental activities to maintain a safe, compliant, and high-performance work environment
• Evaluate employee performance and training effectiveness, identifying skill gaps and improvement opportunities
• Delivering ongoing training, coaching, and constructive feedback to support employee development
• Review and analyze departmental performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Enforce safety standards and lead daily safety talks to promote a strong safety culture
• Provide clear guidance and direction to ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Lead monthly departmental meetings covering quality, productivity, process improvements, and safety

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Strong technical skills
• Ability to develop and influence personnel
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to solve process and production issues independently
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and computer knowledge
• Must be able to work 3rd shift schedule (Sun-Thurs 9:30pm-6:30am), with some weekend work
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• Experience in the production manufacturing industry is a plus
