Our client, a leader in Auto-parts manufacturing, is seeking a Automotive Battery Technician to join their team. As a Battery Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting manufacturing operations.

Job Title: Automotive Battery Technician

Location: Warren, MI

Pay Range: $22 - $25 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Modify, test, and repair machinery and equipment under the guidance of engineering staff or scientists.
  • Prepare parts sketches, write work orders, and coordinate with outside contractors for parts fabrication.
  • Draft detailed drawings or sketches for manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Review project instructions and blueprints to determine test specifications and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Inspect drawings for clarity, measure dimensions, and ensure designs meet original specifications for form and function.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's degree in engineering technology or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in mechanical or industrial settings.
  • Basic skills in making sketches, engineering drawings, and performing calculations.
  • Knowledge of engineering science and technology applications.
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and related engineering applications.
