Commercial Painter

As a Commercial Painter with our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch painting services to commercial properties. You will work with our maintenance staff to ensure all painting projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will help enhance the aesthetic appeal and longevity of commercial buildings in the San Fernando Valley. 

Responsibilities(partial list): 

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, patching, and priming them as needed. 

• Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. 

• Measure and calculate areas to determine the quantity of materials needed. 

• Mix paints and other materials according to specifications. 

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. 

• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and orderly. 

• Work with the project manager to ensure timely completion of jobs. 

• Communicate effectively with clients and other team members. 

• Maintain and take care of painting tools and equipment. 

• Ensure all work meets the quality standards of the company and client. 

• Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a commercial painter (minimum of 5 years preferred). 

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

• Proficient in using painting tools and equipment. 

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. 

• Familiarity with safety standards and guidelines. 

• Physical stamina to handle long hours of painting and lifting. 

• Good communication skills and professionalism. 

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, as needed. 

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus.
