Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems for all print and bind operations to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and deliver training programs to equip manufacturing teams with quality tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct safety and environmental risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor, interpret, and implement applicable EHS regulations and standards.
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain required regulatory reports and documentation.
  • Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Facilitate regular safety meetings, training sessions, and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response and evacuation plans.
  • Lead environmental sustainability initiatives and track environmental performance metrics, ensuring timely state and federal reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage customer complaints and corrective action processes, ensuring timely resolution and continuous feedback integration.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify product quality, as applicable.
  • Perform quality and safety audits to ensure adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Print Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a quality assurance role within printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of print production, binding processes, and quality control methodologies.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, training, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive a culture of quality and safety.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to access and navigate all areas of the facility
  • Occasional travel may be required.
