Tri-Lox Book Keeper
Tri-Lox is a design, custom fabrication, and millwork practice that specializes in regionally sourced, sustainable wood. Our growing business develops unique installations and products for a diverse clientele in public, commercial, residential, and exhibition spaces.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day fi nancial record-keeping for our company. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, profi ciency with accounting software, and a strong understanding of fundamental bookkeeping principles. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently for approximately [10-20] hours per week.
Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:
Record day-to-day fi nancial transactions and complete the posting process.
Process accounts receivable (invoices, deposits, collection management).
Process accounts payable (vendor bills, payments, expense reports).
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations monthly.
Process payroll in a timely manner
Maintain an orderly digital accounting filing system
Monitor and report on discrepancies.
Interface with Sales and Operations Teams on project specific transactions and reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare and generate fi nancial statements and reports (e.g., P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Project Budgets) as requested.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax fi lings.
Qualifications Required
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online, SOS Inventory
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (MS Excel/Google Sheets) and fi nancial software.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive, confi dential information.
Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
Preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Certifi cation (e.g., Bookkeeper Certifi cation, QuickBooks Certifi ed ProAdvisor).
Experience in the Construction and/or Building Products industry.
Schedule & Hours
Hours Per Week: Approximately 10-20 hours per week -
Schedule and remote location: Flexible
Compensation: $40-50 per hour (commensurate with experience)
