Landscape Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee daily field operations and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role is responsible for managing multiple crews, coordinating schedules, maintaining quality standards, and supporting estimating and winter operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and skilled in both leadership and landscape maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise:

• 3 mowing crews
• 2 landscape maintenance crews
• 2 irrigation crews
• 1 turf fertilizing crew

-Manage turf fertilization and integrated turf health programs
-Plan and coordinate daily and weekly crew scheduling
-Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure quality control and client satisfaction
-Assist with estimating, job costing, and proposal preparation
-Communicate effectively with clients, crew leaders, and management
-Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members
-Perform field work as needed to support crews and maintain productivity
-Oversee and participate in snow plowing and winter maintenance operations
-Ensure compliance with safety standards, equipment maintenance, and company policies

Qualifications
-8+ years of experience in landscape maintenance management or a similar supervisory role
-Strong knowledge of mowing operations, landscape maintenance, irrigation, and turf care
-Proven leadership and crew management skills
-Ability to read site plans, schedules, and estimates
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Comfortable working in the field and in a management capacity
-Valid driver’s license and DOT Card (CDL a plus, if applicable)
-Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons and winter weather events

Preferred (but not required)
-Snow and ice management experience
-Spanish fluency
