Director of Manufacturing Operations

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing plant leadership teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs across all facilities.
• Deploy automation and smart manufacturing technologies to improve workflow efficiency.
• Identify operational constraints and implement scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Promote and sustain a proactive, safety-first culture across all operations.
• Develop, manage, and optimize operating budgets and capital investment plans.
• Achieve financial performance targets while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Define and execute manufacturing strategies that align with overall business objectives.
• Direct day-to-day operations across multiple plant locations, ensuring performance against output, quality, safety, and on-time delivery KPIs.
• Evaluate operational performance metrics and lead initiatives to drive efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and Quality teams to align objectives and enhance processes.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide leadership oversight for Global Purchasing of materials and services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing industry.
• Experience directing multisite facilities.
• Strong team building experience.
• Ability to travel between facilities.
