88.3 WAFJ/101.9 & 88.7 The Song is looking for a Promotions Director to oversee all promotional efforts for our radio ministry, along with developing strategies to engage audiences and enhance the outreach of our stations within the Central Savannah River Area.

Responsibilities include:
-Collaborate with management and programming to create and execute station promotions such as contests, events and community stops
-Secure the station prize inventory and maintain winner lists
-Manage the volunteer street team to provide help at station events
-Update the station website daily
-Compose and send the weekly e-newsletter and other special e-mails to our databases
-Oversee the fueling and maintenance of the station vehicle fleet
-Create engaging videos for use on the station website and social media
-Engage with listeners in person and on digital platforms, such as texting and social media
-Connect with community partners to create meaningful relationships
-Represent the station at community functions when needed
-Serve as a backup to both the Social Media Director and Office Manager

People skills and a heart for ministry are must-haves for this position. You must be committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the field of promotions and marketing, along with a college degree in communications, marketing or public relations. This position requires a high level of organizational skills and thorough attention to detail. Some nights and weekends will be required.
