Job Description
- Provide friendly customer service with optical expertise
- Develop the optical sales team with goals, brainstorming selling points and promotion
- Responding to emails from vendors for insurance, services, products
- Assisting Optical team lead with optical meetings
- Coverage for the optical department, pretest department and front desk (if needed).
- Assisting with training for new employees, especially developing optical training skills
- Working with administration to update the Compulink schedule and Microsoft calendar with events, sales rep meetings, Proven IT meetings.
- Scheduling staff in conjunction with the business office with keeping payroll budget low, develop team leads to initiate schedule, finalizing it with business office/HR.
- Sharing responsibility with HR/doctors in conducting annual reviews
- Managing purchase orders with departments.
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable if needed for both insurance and patient balances with admin team members and billing service if needed.
- Managing frame inventory with optical department (Wave Rfid tags) with monthly inventory of frames and troubleshooting any purchase order issues, processing returns, printing tags, trouble shooting
- Organization of the optical department, pretest department in conjunction with optical team lead
- Frame buying if needed alongside other optical team members, developing and keeping budget in coordination with the business office.
- Staff communication via teams meetings regarding any errors in billing or improvements in system processes.
- Meeting quarterly with doctors and the administrative team to promote development of the practice.
- Communication with Compulink regarding issues, or new ways to create efficiency.
- Ensure end of day processing /cash reconciliation.
