Location

Our spacious, all-suite hotel is steps from the Friendship Heights Metro Station, offering easy access to attractions. Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes and standards

  • Ensure timely meal service during evening operations

  • Set up, stock, and break down the kitchen station for PM service

  • Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards at all times

  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation

  • Assist with prep work for the next day as needed

  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils at the end of shift

  • Follow all health department regulations and company policies

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and supervisors

  • Assist with inventory, labeling, dating, and food storage

  • Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications
  • Prior cooking experience preferred

  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

  • Ability to work PM, weekend, and holiday shifts

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
