This role is key to the success of our commercial electrical projectsensuring precise takeoffs, competitive pricing, and timely, accurate proposals. • Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and scopes of work.

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, labor estimates, and material cost analyses.

• Develop complete bid proposals for commercial electrical projects.

• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing for cost comparison.

• Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and timelines.

• Maintain databases and estimating software with updated cost information.

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and coordinate with internal departments.

• Track bid outcomes and support project handoffs upon award.

• Ensure all estimates meet company guidelines for accuracy and completeness.

• Provide technical support and clarification during the bid and post-bid phases.

• 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably commercial projects.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications.

• Skilled in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and a strong team player.
