Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assisting during dental procedures
• Take and process dental X-rays (X-Ray Certification required)
• Perform sterilization and infection control procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments
• Assist with patient comfort and education before, during, and after treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Preferred that he/ she support front office tasks as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments

Dental Assistant Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience preferred
• X-Ray Certification required
• Knowledge of chairside assisting and sterilization protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
