Seafood Manager

Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace is growing with new stores on the way and were looking for a passionate Seafood Manager to join our Morris Plains, NJ team! If you have a love for seafood, leadership experience, and thrive in a fast-paced gourmet environment, this is your chance to make a splash.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee our Seafood Department including all operations, displays, staffing, scheduling, inventory, storage, etc.

• Manage inventory, pricing, and displays to maximize freshness and appeal

• Ensure top-notch quality, safety, and compliance with all food regulations

• Train, mentor, and support seafood staff across multiple locations

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience from seafood prep advice to sustainability education

What Were Looking For:

• HS Diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years seafood department experience (3+ in management)

• Strong knowledge of seafood prep, displays, and operations

• Culinary training a plus (fileting, cooking, inventory management)

• Proven leadership and team-building skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, customer-focused environment
