CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN – HEAVY CIVIL

Terra Constructs currently has a requirement for an experienced Construction Foreman to support its operations in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The position is responsible for being the point of contact between construction crews and Construction Superintendents and Managers. The position provides on-site coordination of projects with crew members and clients. The Construction Foreman is responsible for ensuring schedules are

on projects involving construction of Segmental Block Retaining Walls and MSC Walls is highly desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Works as the point of contact between crew members and construction managers.

· Coordinates, assigns, and directs the day-to-day tasks on projects.

· Responsible for creating and ensuring work schedules are met.

· Ensures that work meets the quality standards of the company.

· Reports on the work progress of assigned projects.

· Responsible for ensuring that work is performed in a safe manner consistent with established company safety standards.

· Interacts with clients on day-to-day work issues.

· Develops and reports work schedules.

· Handles and resolves issues that may arise between crew members.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· High school graduation or equivalent.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Construction Foreman working on Heavy Civil projects.

· Sound knowledge of Construction practices and processes.

· Ability to read construction drawings and processes.

· Strong commitment to Safe Workplace Practice
