Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Position Summary:
As the Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist, you will assess and evaluate residents to determine their therapeutic status and needs. You will develop programs and implement or supervise the implementation of those programs based on identified needs.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Asses therapy-related status of residents on caseload upon admission, annually, and status changes.
- Develop therapeutic programs in areas of feeding, positioning, mobility, sensory or motor development, orthopedic status and adaptive equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to include and train other employees on therapeutic programs in care plan.
- Implement or supervise therapeutic programs with residents, monitor, and make adjustments as needed.
- Instruct staff and families of appropriate rationale, procedures, and precautions of program.
- Design, construct, and monitor resident use of adaptive equipment, orthotic devices, wheelchairs, mobility and positioning devices.
- Documents services and communicates resident therapy programming to relevant people and agencies.
- Attends required meetings, trainings and general supportive department functions.
Requirements:
- Current license for Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy in Ohio.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in occupational therapy or physical therapy.
- Must have a valid CPR/First Aid certificate.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with hands-on work.
- Proficient computer skills.
- 1 year of related experience in developmental disabilities, long-term care or educational setting preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with no more than 5 points, proof of insurance, driver's abstract preferred.
- Experience in long-term care, developmental disabilities, or similar settings preferred.
