Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations

IV therapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Gastrointestinal, GI surgery, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Work Settings, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend
Floating Requirements: Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including: Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU / MICU / NCCU.
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
