Position Summary
In this dynamic role, you'll serve as the vital bridge between clients, patients, and our veterinary team. From the comfort of your home office (with reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace), you'll handle triage, follow-ups, and administrative tasks using your Avimark PMS expertise. This position focuses on communication and coordination, allowing you to apply your LVT skills without the physical strain—perfect for experienced techs seeking a sustainable career pivot.
Key Responsibilities
• Reach out to clients post-appointment or procedure to monitor patient progress and address concerns.
• Coordinate follow-up scheduling and relay critical information between doctors and clients.
• Flag unresolved issues for doctors, update the DVM Work List, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Deliver lab results clearly to clients, confirm comprehension, and book any needed rechecks.
• Manage prescription refills efficiently, verifying compliance and client needs.
• Field nurse calls, triage emergencies, and generate precise estimates for services and visits.
Skills and Qualifications
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification required, with hands-on experience in veterinary settings.
• Proven proficiency in Avimark Practice Management Software (PMS)—essential for seamless operations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a compassionate, client-centered mindset.
• Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail in a fast-paced remote setup.
• Familiarity with veterinary procedures, diagnostics, labs, and medication protocols.
• Reliable home setup: High-speed internet (at least 50 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload), a dedicated workspace, and comfort with video calls/tools like Zoom.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with the team.
