One of our clients in the government domain is seeking a Senior .NET Programmer (On-Site | Long-Term Contract)

Role Overview

The selected Consultant will work closely with the IT Supervisor, project managers, business analysts, QA, and development teams in an Agile environment. This role supports the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, development, testing, demos, deployments, presentations, and ongoing technical support. In collaboration with ODPS staff, the Consultant will lead new development efforts and modernize legacy applications into scalable .NET solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, SQL Server, and related technologies. All applications must follow N-tier architecture principles and comply with ODPS coding standards. Candidates must clearly demonstrate technical competence during the interview process, with documented experience available for verification. ODPS will conduct background checks on selected resources. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to pre-screen candidates for full compliance.

Required Technical Experience

· 10+ years of experience developing ASP.NET Core MVC applications

· 10+ years of experience with C# and ASP.NET

· 10+ years of SQL Server database design and development, including performance tuning, stored procedures, views, and functions

· 10+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Framework 4.0 or higher

· 10+ years of experience using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later

· 10+ years of SOA experience, including developing and securing WCF services

· 10+ years of experience working in N-tier application environments

· 10+ years of experience with code repositories, promotion strategies, and recovery using Azure DevOps (TFS)

· 5+ years of Agile development experience using TFS/Azure DevOps

· 5+ years of experience implementing AJAX-enabled features in ASP.NET applications

· 5+ years of experience developing mobile-compliant web applications

· 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) integrated into MVC applications

· 5+ years of experience using Visual Studio (minimum 2 years with Visual Studio 2019)

· 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps (Git, Boards, CI/CD pipelines)

· 2+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs using .NET Core and .NET 5

· 2+ years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or implementing structured testing strategies
