The Spirit of the Position:

The Assistant Facilities Manager oversees the operations of a location(s) under the direction of the Facilities Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Assistant Facilities Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).

Schedule: This position follows a rotating two-week schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week. Typical shift hours are 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM .

  • Week 1: Tuesday through Friday
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday

Pay: $21.00-$22.00/hour ;non-tipped

Principal Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot and fix equipment within the operation; obtained a basic level of IT troubleshooting
  • Work with and schedule vendors to help with any issues within the operation
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of on-site employees.
  • Identifying high-potential employees to support the organizations continued growth.
  • Organize and narrate parking management skills for Supervisors and Team Leads.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from operating assigned location(s).
  • Communicate with the local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations.
  • Help assist with our event operations within LAZ Parking.
  • Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from assigned location(s).
  • Display superior customer service and train others to engage with customers appropriately.
  • Additional related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • 2+ years in a Supervisory role, preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Parking management experience is preferred but not required.
  • IT experience preferred but not required

  • This position requires the use of a personal vehicle. All work-related mileage will be reimbursed.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
