We are currently seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to support our Grand Rapids–area locations. This position offers 12-hour shifts and a collaborative, patient-focused work environment—without the burden of on-call or overnight rotations.

Position Overview
As an MRI Technologist with The HCS Group, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional imaging services while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity. We treat our patients like family and are looking for technologists who share that commitment.
MRI Technologist Responsibilities
- Explain MRI procedures to patients and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Screen patients for MRI safety and verify physician orders
- Position patients and confirm correct anatomy for imaging
- Insert and remove IVs and catheters as needed
- Select and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality images
- Monitor patients during scans and maintain accurate documentation
- Review images for quality and identify abnormalities
- Complete exams in the EMR and verify images in PACS
- Perform daily quality assurance (QA) checks
- Monitor MRI equipment functionality
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited MRI program or Associate Degree in Applied Science (Radiography)
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience with MRI equipment and patient care
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
