Our customer, a fortune 50 financial services organization, is seeking an Agile L2 Product Owner within our Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), as part of the CIB Business Solutions and Enablement (BSE) team. This role will support key business areas including Markets, Banking, Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and the CIB COO organization.
The Agile L2 Product Owner will own the strategy for low-code/no-code workflow and automation technologies, driving innovation and efficiency across CIB. This contract position will manage multiple L1 Product Owners and development teams, ensuring roadmap creation, backlog prioritization, and delivery excellence for automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligent automation and workflow delivery, with exposure to multiple automation technologies and experience delivering solutions in financial services, specifically investment banking.
This role will focus on mitigating operational risks, automating control processes, and delivering measurable efficiency and cost savings

This is a horizontal enablement role, not tied to a single desk or product. Automation Product Ownership (Primary)
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for low-code / no-code automation platforms
  • Drive workflow automation , controls automation, and operational efficiency
  • Deliver measurable cost savings and risk reduction
Senior Product Leadership
  • Act as an L2 Product Owner
    • Oversee and guide multiple L1 Product Owners
    • Align roadmaps across teams
  • Manage multiple delivery teams simultaneously
Strategic Advisory Role
  • Advise senior leadership on:
    • Automation strategy
    • Operating model improvements
    • Risk mitigation via controls automation
  • Solve ambiguous, cross-LOB problems requiring judgment and creativity
Risk & Controls Focus
  • Automate manual control processes
  • Reduce operational risk
  • Support audit-friendly, scalable solutions

Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking. Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Business Execution business solutions. Strategically engage with client personnel.

Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
