Our client, an environmental and engineering consulting firm serving Williston, VT, is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join their team. As an Environmental Project Manager , you will be part of the project management department supporting environmental remediation and site investigation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Environmental Project Manager
Location: Williston, VT
Pay Range: $75,000 - $110,000 yearly
What's the Job?
- Manage environmental projects from initial planning through execution and closure
- Oversee remedial system design and implementation (e.g., SVE, ISCO, pump & treat)
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Lead subsurface investigations including drilling, sampling, and hydrogeological studies
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation
What's Needed?
- Bachelors degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or site remediation
- Proficiency in site characterization, remedial technologies, and regulatory compliance
- PE or PG license (or eligibility)
- Familiarity with VT DEC, EPA, and ASTM regulations
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or environmental modeling tools
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally
