What You Will Get To Do: 

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be at the helm of designing and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions that drive the success of Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (HA) as it relates to Disaster Operations/Response.  You’ll work alongside a talented team to shape the future of mission technology and processes.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Advise leadership on initiatives, recommendations, and changes to improve technologies alignments 

  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technology teams to ensure mission technology requirements and challenges are addressed 

  • Provide analysis of current technologies used within to determine best solutions/tools while considering cost efficiencies 

  • Oversee a portfolio of various initiatives focused on advancing mission from a technology or process maturity perspective 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding IT portfolio performance, priorities, and issue resolution 

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address requests, incidents, and portfolio-related inquiries promptly 

  • Engage stakeholders to capture mission requirements and translate into proposed technical specifications for hand off to an implementation team 

  • Manage full system development lifecycle of technology implementations 

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address requests, incidents, and portfolio-related inquiries promptly 

  • Champion a client-first approach while balancing technical feasibility and contractual requirements 

  • Develop client-ready documentation and deliverables, such as presentations, cost benefit analysis, project plans, communications plans, and standard operating procedures (SOP)  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Authorized to work for any U.S. employer. 

  • Over 8 years of IT and PMO experience, PMP certified, Secret clearance 

  • In-depth understanding of technologies and has out of the box thinking to deploy innovative solutions to address stakeholder needs 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Current incumbent personnel with in-depth HA experience and response management

Southpoint Consulting relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, as well as organizational and contract-specific requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000/year.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position and is just one component of Southpoint's total compensation package for employees.
