Operating Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial equipment, water systems, and related facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues under the guidance of Plant Management.
• Complete general facility maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, custodial work, and minor repairs.
• Participate in the safety committee to promote and sustain a strong culture of safe work practices.
• Follow instructions accurately and complete assignments efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers in a professional and team-oriented manner.
• Work flexible schedules, including off-shift hours or weekends, to support special projects and equipment overhauls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
