FAMILY OWNED CAJUN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, adjoins an 85-unit hotel in South Louisiana. We're open six days per week, and serve breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, and full a la carte food service, three meals per day. We do large volume of food and service (2.5 Million Volume) , including lots of premium take-out service. We cater outside events, including weddings and parties.
We have an immediate opening for an Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager/Partner. Training is available if needed. The owner needs an individual looking for a growth position.The owner is looking to retire, this position eventually will replace the owner. This job requires keen knowledge in
- Food preparation,
- Quantity food purchasing and inventory control
- Management of 25 people, cooks and maintenance staff. Management of this staff is more important that your actual food preparation.
Night work necessary and weekends mandatory (Closed Sundays). Long hours are necessary to make this position a success.
