AutoCAD Drafter

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the creation and modification of technical drawings and plans for both commercial and residential projects, ensuring accuracy, precision, and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting: Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, and sections for commercial and residential projects.
• Modifications: Update and revise existing drawings to reflect changes, corrections, and updated specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all drawings, revisions, and related materials.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the shop manager, craftsmen, and project team members to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
• Quality Control: Verify that all drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.
• Project Support: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing drafting work to support timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience within a millwork or similar fabrication environment.
