Summary

SUMMARY : Prepares and cooks foods for the Hospital patients, staff, and visitors as directed by management. Responsible for overall sanitation of the department. RESPONSIBILITIES : Reviews production sheets to determine types and quantity of product to be used. Plans cooking schedule and utilization of leftovers, keeping waste and leftovers to a minimum. Ensures food quality by following proper food preparation, handling and sanitation techniques. Cleans and sanitizes preparation area and equipment. Provides assistance to tray line. REQUIREMENTS : 1-3 YOE, exerts up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently to of force frequently to lift, carry, move, push or pull objects.
