We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test suites to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and implement robust automation frameworks that accelerate our release cycles while maintaining exceptional product reliability. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust test automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications
Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies
Identify, document, and track software defects through their lifecycle using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
Implement and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment
Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts and mentor junior QA engineers on best practices
Analyze test results, generate detailed test reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings as an integral member of the agile team
Stay current with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks:
Web UI Automation:
Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright
API Testing:
RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI
Mobile Testing:
Appium, Espresso, XCUITest
BDD Frameworks:
Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and code collaboration platforms
Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of security testing concepts and tools (OWASP, Burp Suite)
Experience testing microservices architectures and event-driven systems
ISTQB, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications
