Overview:

Job Description Summary:
Manages and tracks the IT assets of the organization from order to disposal, ensuring their proper functioning, maintenance, security.Job Description:
Essential Functions:- Manages and tracks the inventory of all software and hardware assets, ensuring that devices containing sensitive health information are disposed of properly to protect the confidentiality and security of information. Ensures licence compliance. Ensures appropriate decommissioning or termination according to contract terms.
- Assists in the design, implementation and maintenance of the asset management system, including the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures. Work with project teams to coordinate time lines and deliverables for system implementations.
- Audits the accuracy of the asset register and compliance with licencing, analyzes resulting data, identifies and resolves discrepancies.
- Collaborates with other IT teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Evaluates and makes recommendations for asset management improvements.
- Liaises between vendors, shippers, couriers, project managers, the NCH dock, the IS procurement team and IS Management and staff on IT asset requests and procurement.
- Participates in annual planning and budgeting processes, providing data for equipment and supplies requirements.
- Works with vendors for procurement, maintenance/support, licencing, and cost control activities. Maintains good vendor relations, monitors vendor performance and participates in vendor selection activities.
Bachelors Degree in computer information science or relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.

- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- One year of experience in procurement, asset management and inventory management, required.
- Experience in a healthcare environment, preferred.
- ServiceNow SAM/HAM experience, preferred.
