Electronic Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for troubleshooting and facilitating repairs on electronic/electrical equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing
• Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting manufacturing processes, mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
• Must be responsible for modifying, repairing, and improving existing electronic products, equipment, and controls and will assist in developing new or updated electronic systems, components, or products.
• Must be able to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures, signs, etc.
• Must be able to perform electronic installations and repairs.
• Must perform safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• 5+ years of experience as an Electronic Technician within a Manufacturing environment
• Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Must have knowledge about PLC, HMI and Temperature Controllers'
• Must have knowledge of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v.
• Must be able to troubleshoot installing and programing of VFD's.
• Must have basic electrical circuitry.
