Job Description

Launch Your Career: Industrial Design & Program Management Assistant!

Are you ready to stop applying for boring jobs and start building an epic resume? We're looking for a motivated, hyper-organized, and creative go-getter to join our fast-paced team as an Entry-Level Industrial Design/Program Management Assistant!

Why Join Us? (AKA: The Resume Boost)

This isn't just a job; it's a launchpad. You'll work closely with design veterans and program managers, gaining hands-on, cross-functional experience that most entry-level roles can only dream of.

  • Design Cred: Get exposure to the full Industrial Design lifecycle, helping to bring concepts from sketch to final product. Your creative input will matter!

  • Management Muscle: Learn the art of keeping complex projects on track, managing timelines, coordinating with international teams, and becoming a process ninja.

  • Dual-City Experience: Work across our vibrant Madison Heights, MI and Windsor, ON locations. Gain valuable international business experience and cultural perspective without the full commitment of an international move! (Occasional travel between the two cities may be required.)

  • Build Your Book: Your portfolio and resume will thank you. You'll have quantifiable project success stories to talk about in future interviews.

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept)

You will be the vital link connecting our design vision with our execution plan. Your typical day will include:

  • Project Quarterback: Assisting Program Managers with scheduling, meeting coordination, and tracking key deliverables across various design projects.

  • Design Support: Organizing design files, conducting competitive research, preparing presentation decks, and assisting with design review documentation.

  • Communication Hub: Serving as the key communication contact between design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

  • Process Perfection: Identifying and implementing small improvements to make our project workflow smoother and more efficient.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree preferred, but not required! We value talent and drive above all else.

  • Experience or coursework in Industrial Design, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Interior Design experience is also highly helpful!

  • A hyper-organized mind that thrives on checklists and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel).

  • A "roll up your sleeves" attitude—no task is too small or too big.

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and/or Canada (or able to obtain necessary travel/work documentation for both locations).

Bonus Points: Experience with project management software

Ready to Design Your Future?

If you're ready to make a significant impact from day one and build a career, not just a job, we want to hear from you!

Apply Today! Send your resume and a brief, fun cover letter (tell us your favorite designed product and why!)
