Engage actively in rehabilitation programs, applying the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching early to facilitate smooth transitions of care. Communicate patient status changes effectively to support continuity and safety of care. Provide supervision and training to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks and supporting clinical decision-making. Uphold hospital standards related to safety, appearance, attendance, and punctuality. Maintain open communication with management regarding clinical and operational needs. Prepare to assume charge nurse responsibilities following orientation.
