Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician performs routine quality control testing, documentation, and inspection of prepared media products. This role is essential for maintaining product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sterility and performance testing of prepared media according to SOPs
  • Document test results and maintain accurate QC records
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and batch record reviews
  • Report deviations and support investigations as needed
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Collaborate with Production and QC teams to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with USP Guidelines and company standards

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred
  • Experience in laboratory quality control or microbiological testing is a plus
  • Familiarity with microbiological techniques and aseptic practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
