Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Carry out a wide range of tasks to install, service, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
• Respond to emergency or unscheduled equipment issues during production and perform routine maintenance during planned service periods.
• Execute basic machinist tasks and responsibilities.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documents, and work orders to complete maintenance and repair activities.
• Identify problems, replace or repair components, test functionality, and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Perform general plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Utilize a range of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and material-handling devices to perform job duties.
• Identify faulty operations or materials and promptly report issues or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma/GED and completion of craft apprenticeship or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
• 4+ years of Manufacturing experience
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to complete a drug screen
