Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair fusion equipment, including small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections on rental fusion equipment prior to returning units to active service.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, repairs completed, and scheduled maintenance for all rental fusion equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose customer-owned equipment to prepare detailed repair estimates.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance coordinator and service advisors regarding equipment status, ongoing repairs, and customer updates.
• Identify and report machine defects, damages, or malfunctions promptly.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on fabrication shop equipment as needed.
• Prepare equipment for shipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Use computers for order entry, parts sourcing, and email communication (experience preferred).
• Work with local vendors or vendor websites to identify and procure required parts.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or automotive repair is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and apply independent judgment when needed.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Automotive repair experience is a plus.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, climbing, and physical activity required.
