POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Service Sales Manager is responsible for driving accelerated growth of aftermarket services within the assigned Local Vertiv Office (LVO) territory. This role focuses on executing a strategic sales plan to achieve objectives, increase revenue, and deliver profitable growth. The position requires providing accurate, timely data and maintaining clear, effective communication with Vertiv customers, service associates, and LVO service sales representatives. The Regional Sales Manager works closely with LVO offices to monitor performance, track results, and deliver updates, while identifying and facilitating training opportunities to strengthen capabilities and drive success.

Additionally, this role plays a critical part in fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture rooted in Vertivs core values and behaviors, ensuring alignment between regional objectives and local execution while promoting collaboration and excellence across all touchpoints.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive service sales revenue growth through collaboration with the assigned LVO offices to develop and implement strategies that achieve goals across assigned sales categories and quotas.
  • Meet or exceed forecast commitments through rigorous pipeline management, Power BI reporting, opportunity management, and managing quarterly business plans.
  • Build working partnerships with a network of independent sales offices to drive behaviors and mutual accountability.
  • Lead LVO performance and accelerate deals by removing internal barriers, anticipating, and resolving conflicts.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Sales Managers and business leaders to drive revenue growth across business lines.
  • Monitor LVO monthly performance and develop action plans for areas not meeting or exceeding assigned goals.
  • Facilitate structured on-the-job training for LVO Sales Representatives, ensuring proficiency in developing, presenting, quoting, and entering service maintenance agreements in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cultivate a customer-first mindset across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple offices and achieve regional objectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and closing complex transactions involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage leads across multiple channels.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven with an enthusiastic desire to succeed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve contract and product issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong overall PC skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; collaborative team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a heavy travel schedule.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of UPS/Power Products, data center environments, service offerings, and client needs.
  • Familiarity with Vertiv Representative selling structure.
  • Working knowledge of the data center industry.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated salary range for this role in Cleveland, Ohio and IL locality is between $59k to $78k, CT $61k to $82k, and NY $65k to $86k per year, salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. In addition to salary this role is eligible for monthly sales incentive. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to receive and/or participate in profit sharing, allowances, travel and/or car expenses, and earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the employees role and individual offer details. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process.
