Introduction
Our client is a well-established animal hospital in Hiram, Georgia, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their long-standing team. This full-service practice provides veterinary care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets, and has been a trusted part of the community since 1986. They are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. This is a full-time position, with the doctor schedule typically arranged over three to four days per week. There are no after-hours responsibilities, allowing for a healthy work-life balance within a predictable weekly rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload that includes wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and both routine and complex soft tissue surgery. The role involves performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, conducting advanced diagnostics, and maintaining detailed medical records. Client education and clear, compassionate communication are central to the position. This opportunity is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with support provided through mentorship, collaboration, and access to a large DVM peer network.

The hospital is equipped with modern veterinary technology, including advanced imaging and diagnostics, surgical facilities, dental services, and a dedicated boarding area. The practice offers a wide range of veterinary services such as annual wellness care, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, general and advanced surgery, dental cleanings, pocket pet care, parasite prevention, and more. Team

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
