Working Hours / Rota
The position is full time, based on a four day workweek, with the option of a three day schedule for experienced candidates. There are no on call, weekend, or overnight responsibilities, ensuring a balanced and sustainable career. Appointment times are structured for high quality medicine, with one hour for new cases and approximately thirty minutes for rechecks, and flexibility to adjust as needed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The incoming oncologist will lead and develop the oncology service, providing expert diagnosis, staging, and management of cancer cases while collaborating closely with the hospital's internal medicine, surgery, and cardiology specialists. You will have the autonomy to tailor your clinical approach and work alongside a supportive team that values knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration. Practice Details
The hospital provides advanced care in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, and oncology, serving dogs and cats throughout the Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix region. The practice has an active residency program in internal medicine and maintains a strong reputation for managing complex medical cases. Facilities include CT imaging, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, endoscopy and laparoscopy towers, two ultrasound machines, a Holmium laser for minimally invasive cystoscopic and lithotripsy procedures, and fully equipped surgical and treatment suites. The new hospital expansion will enhance these capabilities even further, offering the incoming oncologist the tools and space to provide comprehensive, cutting-edge cancer care in an environment dedicated to quality medicine.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
