Job Summary:?
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facility, while facilitating a zero-injury safety culture.

As a Maintenance Technician, You Will:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on essential process and packaging equipment, including pumps, conveyors, fans, and bearing systems.
• Utilize welding, cutting, and fabrication skills to repair existing structures and modify equipment for enhanced performance.
• Safely operate industrial vehicles, including forklifts and front-end loaders, to assist with material handling and equipment placement.
• Utilize basic computer knowledge to manage work orders, document repairs, and communicate efficiently within the facility's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Technical Proficiency: Read and understand basic blueprints and mechanical drawings to guide effective troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Uphold stringent safety standards and participate actively in plant safety programs.

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven maintenance experience in a heavy industrial setting.
• A strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment effectively and efficiently under pressure.
• Experience with equipment lubrication processes and a willingness to learn
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a highly effective team.
• This position requires the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and involves prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and working in varying environmental conditions.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
