We are currently assisting one of our clients in Fairfield County, Connecticut, with their search for a highly qualified and experienced Food Service Supervisor.
This role is critical for overseeing the daily operations of the food service setting. A Food Service Supervisor is responsible for:
- Managing Daily Operations: Overseeing staff management, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Ensuring Quality and Safety: Maintaining high standards of food quality and strictly adhering to food safety regulations.
- Administrative Tasks: Handling duties that may include inventory management, menu planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Requirements/ skills and certifications:
- Valid Serve Safe Certification: This is mandatory for ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Point of Sale (POS) System Experience: Proficiency in POS operation is required for daily transactions and reporting.
- Key Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
