School Security & Traffic Control Officer

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable School Security and Traffic Control Officer to support school safety and traffic control operations at school locations in Statesville and Mooresville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a Security Guard or Public Safety Officer.We're on the lookout for a dependable and attentive Security Officer to work with one of our local clients in the industrial area of Statesville.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct traffic control during student drop-off and dismissal
• Monitor for safety concerns and report incidents as required

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Security Officer, Security Guard, Traffic Control Officer, or Public Safety Officer preferred

• Valid Guard Card required (must be current and in good standing)

• Ability to remain alert, professional, and calm in a school-based environment

• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to pass background checks and mandatory drug testing

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Work Environment:

• Smoke-free workplace – strict adherence to non-smoking policies required

• Physically active role requiring regular standing, walking, lifting, and occasional stair climbing

• Work assignments may take place indoors and outdoors, including varying weather conditions

• School and campus-based settings focused on student safety and community well-being

Shifts: Flexible scheduling may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends
