You will oversee supply planning activities for your product families in the business unit. You will also be responsible for supporting the supply review process and interactions with the cross-functional teams.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Manage a supply planning team responsible for the category/business unit supply planning review process of the integrated business planning process
  • Lead the monthly supply review process, specifically facilitating the category/business unit supply review with stakeholders in the integrated supply chain function
  • Ensure business agreement on the supply of the plan, capacity constraints, raw and pack risks and its cost for the future 12-18-month timeline
  • Support the 18-36-month strategic capacity plan
  • Support the interaction with demand planning, manufacturing, business development and finance
  • Manage, coach and develop a team
  • Drive continuous capability building in the supply planning team for planning improvement

  • Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience and strong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment

What you need to know about this position:

  • Develop and foster a high performing team, ensuring delivery of critical KPI related to materials - CFR, OTIF innovation execution, and waste

  • Optimize supply availability, inventory investment and risk of obsolescence. Establish, execute and deliver RPW waste targets, reduction initiatives with plants and vendors

  • Lead team to deliver commercialization and promotional activities within the materials management function by working closely with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, procurement, and vendors

  • Provide centralized communication to senior leadership and stakeholders on all RPW risks and recovery plans. Serve as point of escalation for materials availability topics, risks, priorities

  • Steer transformational and technical initiatives with regards to materials planning systems, tools and processes

  • Lead continuous improvement and process automation agenda for the HQMM team. Bring strong analytical skillset in a space of planning systems and technical reporting tools

  • Act as "voice of the team" for materials roadmap creation, blueprinting sessions, partner with technical and executional groups

  • Provide support and coaching to direct reports. Lead engagement agenda and interaction with internal and cross-functional team members

  • Adopt IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working and work on Supply Network capabilities to drive value and loss elimination

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Job specific requirements:

  • Comprehensive supply chain experience, ideally in planning or procurement andstrong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment

  • Strong experience of project and stakeholder management

  • Prior experience leading people and building teams

  • Experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle

  • Knowledgeable about leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chainconcepts

  • Strong practical experience of Material planning and Reporting Applications (SAP ECC/BW, MRP, Mosaic - Spec Systems, Tableau, Aera, etc.)

  • Advanced analytical tools (Excel, SAP BI)

  • 8-10 years of experience preferred

Travel requirements: Minimal/as needed

Work schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Hybrid: manage 3 days a week working onsite

Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
