Job Description
Top three’ qualifications:
- Convey design ideas in tangible forms: sketches, user flows, mind mapping, site maps, renderings, storyboarding, rapid prototypes, detailed annotated wireframes, UI specs, interaction design mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes.

- Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe, Figma, Miro, Material Design, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Use best-of-breed UX/UI practices to envision and bring industry-leading digital product experiences.
- Mature and evolve the design framework, in collaboration with others to form a cohesive offering across all client's products.
- Design and deliver outcomes that elegantly and intuitively answer customer needs and translate business/product requirements into engaging user experiences.
- Work throughout the entire design life cycle: ideating, researching, development support, and testing.
- Translate business goals and concepts into wireframes and prototypes that define intuitive user experiences.
- Convey design ideas in tangible forms: sketches, user flows, mind mapping, site maps, renderings, storyboarding, rapid prototypes, detailed annotated wireframes, UI specs, interaction design mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Assist with the development of organizational models, navigational models and interactive behaviors, wireframes, user flows, and personas.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary Product Development team (UX Designers, UX Researcher, Program Managers) and development partners to gather insights and create products.
- Evolve client's design language in collaboration with program managers, stakeholders, and development partners.
- Collaborate with teams to create data-driven insights that influence UI/UX design and content decisions, then assist with the recommendation of testing scenarios and site updates to ensure KPIs are met.
- Employ a variety of user experience testing methodologies, including usability testing, A/B testing, and surveys, and translate real-user findings into actionable insights.
- Perform competitive and future trend analysis to help ensure client remains the industry benchmark.
- Deliver the appropriate level of specification and detail needed to maintain project timeline while effectively communicating intentions.
- Assist with final review and QA testing projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of user experience and user-centered design approaches, including deep knowledge of desktop/mobile best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams (motion, interaction, UX research, engineering, content strategy) on technical implementation.
- Experience implementing design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment.
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
- Passion for great design, purposeful aesthetic sense, an eye for detail, and a demonstrated understanding of typography, color, and layout.
- Deep appreciation and talent for generating simple solutions to complex problems.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, engineering, and development.
- Exposure to user testing scenarios.
- Fluency in standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe, Pencil, Whiteboard, etc.).
- Ability to clearly communicate design processes and solutions.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics, and web / app technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, etc.).
- Highly developed visual aesthetic and attention to detail, with the ability to iterate designs intelligently and effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe, Figma, Miro, Material Design, etc.).
- Advanced skills in problem-solving and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing hardware systems and platforms such as desktop, touchscreens, and mobile Android and iOS.
- Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
- Experience with Design Systems to help aid digital product design and development teams.
- Accessibility experience to make sure our products and services can be used by everyone.
- Preferred understanding of Magento.
Nice to Have
- Understanding Motion, utilizing (but not limited to) After Effects, Micro Animations.
- Understanding 3D, Virtual Reality.
- Understanding gaming mechanics, storytelling, mapping, and wayfinding.
- Understanding ML + UX (Machine Learning + User Experience) as we move into a world where AI is the experience.
