Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Lead Superintendent to join their team. As a Lead Superintendent, you will be part of the Construction Department supporting project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Superintendent

Location: Rochester, MN

Pay Range: $122,800 - $166,000

What's the Job?

  • Direct the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work that meets the project schedule
  • Develop, document, and communicate work plans regarding changes made in the field
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to anticipate potential issues before they arise
  • Verify safety compliance with all trades and enforce quality control policies on-site
  • Lead contractor meetings regularly and oversee project documentation using Procore

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 7-10 years of experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects in a superintendent role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera Scheduling, and CMIC (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety processes and OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
